On an ordinary planet in the distant future. Humans have long been at war with the mechanical aristocrats called "Hyperion." This is the story of Drossel, a Hyperion and the daughter of the Duke von Flügel, and her butler Gedächtnis in the Tower of Tempest, isolated from the outside world.
